A dedicated sanctuary
of quiet support, honoring local legacy
with absolute grace.
JABEL Healthcare Services was founded in Barrie with a single, unhurried intention: to bring back the quiet rhythm of being looked after. We are not a national franchise, and we have no ambition to become one. We are a small, deliberate studio of caregivers who believe a household is a private composition — one that deserves to be honoured, not standardised.
Our work is the practiced art of presence. Companionship that fills the long afternoons. Respite that gives a family caregiver the space to breathe, to travel, to be a daughter or a husband again instead of a coordinator. We build each care plan around the person at its centre — their hours, their cultural table, their preferred chair, the programmes that make the evening feel like home.
We serve the families of Barrie, Innisfil, Orillia, New Tecumseth, and Bradford — a stretch of Simcoe County we know by its quieter rhythms. The coffee shop on Bayfield Street that opens at six. The way the lake softens the light in Orillia after four. The Sunday traffic out of Bradford. Care is local work; it should sound and feel like the place it is given.
Every caregiver who enters a JABEL household has passed a Vulnerable Sector Check and has been chosen, personally, for the home they will visit. We do not roster strangers. We introduce a person — by name, with a handshake — and then we keep them there.
“We measure our support not by the hours recorded, but by the quiet peace of mind restored to the home.”
We would be glad
to meet your family — unhurried.
